Vintage Villeroy Boch Septfontaine Round 8" Serving Bowl/Centerpiece
A wonderful vintage Villeroy Boch Septfontaines round vegetable serving bowl with a fruit and vegetable" motif. This bowl, made in Luxembourg, has an authentic Villeroy & Boch mark on the bottom dating it to the 1970s. The exterior of the bowl is adorned with three different fruit and vegetable depictions each with green leafy vines and berries.
The bowl measures 8" in diameter and stands 3" high. For its age, it is in very good overall vintage condition with no cracks or chips noted. There is some crazing as well as some staining on the interior bowl base that appear to be faint burn marks. There is also some marks on the exterior underside from shelf wear over the years. A great sized handsome bowl that will brighten any table as either a serving bowl or as a potential fruit bowl centerpiece.
