This is a vintage (maybe antique) buckle made by Johann S. Kurz & Co.) circa 1848 to 1966, Hanau Germany. This piece is also marked with a spider, which was the "import" mark into France. This buckle weighs 15.9 grams of silver and is about 2 and 1/4 Inches in length. This piece was acid tested.
