This is a beautiful teapot that has a lot of character and quality. This teapot is about 4 inches tall to the top of the lid and 6.5 inches from the side of the pot to the tip of the spout. From the research that I’ve done on this piece I’ve found that the red mark is Chinese which reads ( Hongxian Nina Zhi) which translates “ made during the Hongxian Reign, which was a short-lived imperial era from 1915 -1916. This mark is often found on porcelain that was made during the rule of Yuan Shikai who briefly declared himself emperor of China. This red mark is often used to date Chinese porcelain. This piece is in great shope there are no cracks or unusual wear. The piece has a glossy finish. Which will look beautiful in your display.
