Vintage 1960s lithograph of " The Swing" by Renoir. The swing was originally made in the summer of 1876 by the French Impressionist artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The painting depicts model Jeanne Samary, Norbert Goeneutte, and Renoir’s brother Edmond. The painting combines eighteenth-century techniques with modern elements.
This vintage lithograph was made and framed by New York Company Rudolf Lesch Fine Arts, which operated from 1940 - 1970
The frame is a two-tone wooden reverse profile frame, which has its highest point nearest the artwork and then recedes or tapers outward towards the back, creating a sense of depth and projection for the art adding great textural interest.
Measures Approx:
14" H x 12" W
2.5" Depth
In good condition with no chips or cracks to the wooden frame and no damage to the print piece. The paper backing has ripped, but the original NY Rudolf Lesch Label is still in place. Smoke-free and Pet-free hypoallergenic home. Will be packaged with care.
