PS African Tourmaline

I am color blind so l can’t tell you the color. My kids say in person it looks more violet but in photo the say it kind of looks orangeish. This maybe because the PS stands for Paraiba type tourmaline also known as Cuprian tourmaline. The Paraiba was first found in Paraiba, Brazil and is known for having traces if copper or manganese. Later similar tourmaline was found in Nigeria and Mozambique Africa. Paraiba and Cuprian are trade names for any copper bearing tourmaline. These are extremely rare, the gemstone community says that there is only one Paraiba for every 10,000 mined. This is a tear drop style stone .97CT and 9X6MM. Was never removed from the original container but did remove the lid to try and get better photos.
