In exceptional vintage condition, the vase has a design emblematic of the early mid-century modern (MCM>) era: a geometric pattern, clear and frosted glass, and silver appliqué. The hallmarking of 8 ovals in 800 silver is from 1944-969, signed by the Florentine silversmith, Ferruccio Falsini. The varied positioning of the silver ovals on the frosted glass facets (see photos) and the asymmetrical cuts in the glass (particularly on the top) are indicative of a unique, custom-designed piece. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with scarcely noticeable minuscule chipping.
