The dish dates back to the 1930s and reflects the Art Deco style popular at the time.
It is made of thin, pink-colored pressed ‘depression’ glass. The metal caddy is silver-toned and can shows minor signs of age.
The glass dish is round, approx 7”,with three sections and features a distinctive starburst or sunburst pattern on the base. It fits snugly into the open-work metal holder, which has a convenient swing handle for serving.
These dishes were commonly used as serving trays for relish, candy, nuts, or other small appetizers.
