Argentine Saguaro (E. Terscheckii), 10-11" unrooted cutting. It may come with roots as its been in ground for several weeks but unsure, so selling as unrooted. it is a little taller as I had to plant some of it under the soil to root.
Argentine Saguaros are very fast growing columnar cacti that produce edible fruits. They look stunning in landscapes or do well on a dry farm. They can also withstand alot of water, not being as prone to root rot as many cactus. It can get up to 40' tall and produce hundreds of flowers and fruits. Eat its fruits raw or make them into a juice, or you can make them into wine! Great alternative to Saguaros native to the southwest USA.
Native Region: Dry regions in Argentina & Bolivia.
Mature Size: 5’ Tall. Can grow up to 40 feet tall and 12 feet wide.
Growth rate: Slow to medium, depending on water and climate among other factors. Water weekly for optimal growth, can grow up to 1 or 2 feet per year when happy.
