Add a touch of old-world European grandeur to your collection with this exquisite pair of early 20th-century German porcelain plates, pattern #4446, marked “Made in Germany.” Measuring 8.5 inches in diameter, these plates showcase rich cobalt blue rims adorned with intricate 22K gold scrollwork and floral filigree, framing a delicate central gold medallion motif.

Likely crafted by one of the fine Thuringia or Saxony porcelain makers who supplied Europe’s elite households in the early 1900s, these plates embody the grace and precision of the Art Nouveau to early Art Deco transition.

One plate bears a faint hairline on the reverse (see photo), while the other remains in excellent antique condition with only minimal age wear. Both are display-ready, ideal for a curio cabinet or elegant wall mounting.

Era: ca. 1900–1920
Origin: Germany (Thuringia or Saxony region)
Material: Fine porcelain with gilt and cobalt enamel
Condition: One minor hairline on back, otherwise excellent
